Stones on the sea

In response to the recommendation from the research project on the need for more faculty development in the medical humanities (Bloom, L et al.), on May 24th, 2016, the Department of Faculty Development sponsored the first of four interprofessional Narrative Medicine workshops led by family physician Dr. Leonard Bloom, English professor Dr. Mary Arseneau, and clinical social worker Ms. Lynn Bloom. Three more narrative medicine workshops will follow in the 2016-17 academic year. The fourth workshop, in French, will be co-led by Dr. Marc Zaffran and Dr. Leonard Bloom.
