All courses at the University of Ottawa are given in either English or French, or in both languages. To gain admission, you must therefore demonstrate proficiency in at least one of these languages.

In the case of applicants whose first language is neither English nor French, evidence of proficiency in the language of instruction, is required in the form of an approved language test such as the following:
