  • Preclinical to clinical (i.e. “bench-to-bedside”) translation (I co-lead the Blueprint Translational Research Group at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute)
  • Cell therapy for perioperative medicine and critical illness
  • Reducing risk of bias and improving reporting in preclinical science
  • Preclinical and clinical systematic reviews
  • I am also a member of the Centre for Journalology and have a special interest in Predatory Journals
  • My group integrates patient partners throughout our research (i.e. “patient engagement”)
