The BMI department confers M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in either Biochemistry or Microbiology and Immunology. The department also participates in two collaborative programs: The Human and Molecular Genetics and the Bioinformatics. The two individual degree granting programs and the collaborative programs are each administered by a separate Graduate Studies Committee. Approximately 200 students are enrolled in the Departmental programs.
