Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

The Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology (BMI) confers M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in either Biochemistry or Microbiology and Immunology. The department also participates in three collaborative programs: The Human and Molecular Genetics and Bioinformatics. The two individual degree granting programs and the collaborative programs are each administered by a separate Graduate Studies Committee. Approximately 200 students are enrolled in the Departmental programs.

For more information regarding admissions, program requirements (courses, comprehensive exams, thesis advisory committees, theses, etc.), financial support, travel awards, or other requirements/opportunities for graduate students in the Biochemistry and Microbiology and Immunology graduate programs, please go to the Faculty of Medicine graduate and postdoctoral studies webpage.
