Research - Major activities
Many environmental chemicals that contaminate human foodstuffs and natural chemicals occurring in food that possess hormonal activity, are considered as possible endocrine disrupters with reproductive implications for human development and fertility. Investigations use in vivo and in vitro approaches to examine the mechanisms of toxicity of these chemicals.
