CMM/NSC Research Day

Posted on Tuesday, September 25, 2018

The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine invites all trainees to participate in CMM/NSC Research Day 2018 to be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at Tabaret Hall (Huguette Labelle Hall, TBT112) from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

The primary goal of Research Day is to showcase the excellent research being conducted by the Department, to develop intradepartmental and inter-program collaborations, to allow trainees the opportunity to present their work and to socialize and network as a department. We strongly encourage all trainees to submit an abstract (maximum 250 words excluding title and affiliation) for consideration for an oral presentation or a poster.

Prizes will be given for best poster and presentation for postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D. and MSc candidates in both programs.  Expect plenty of door prizes as well as other goodies!

The day will feature a Keynote presentation by Dr. Michelle James (Stanford University) (for biographical info, please consult: https://profiles.stanford.edu/michelle-james) and a series of talks from alumni on alternative career paths after graduation.

RSVP: Registration is free and all trainees are welcome to participate. To register as a participant, to present a poster, or be considered for an oral presentation, please register (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FB9WNSG) and submit your abstract online no later than October 10th, 2018 for consideration.
