Mina Zeroual is a medical doctor with a specialization in general surgerysince 2000. In Morocco, she was head of the Operating Block as well the Operating Ward for seven years. Dr. Zeroual has taught anatomy, physiology and physiopathology classes for the past eight years. In April 2016, she graduated from the University of Ottawa Health Care Professionals Education Master Program and was a prize-winner. She also earned a diploma in Health Population Risk Management Assessment Program of the University of Ottawa in 2013. Dr. Zeroual’s first position in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa was as an instructor with Division of Clinical and Functional Anatomy in 2013.
Nowadays, Dr. Zeroual is a Replacement Professor in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, an instructor in the Anatomy Division as well as a tutor to the Practical Learning Sessions for Undergraduate Medical Students of the Faculty of Medicine.
Overview of interest
Dr. Zeroual is particularly interested in different teaching strategies of Anatomy and in various Practices in Formative Assessment used by teachers with students registered in Health Science or in Medical Education Program.
