6th Annual Morris Kates Seminar April 30th - Dr. Gilbert Di Paolo

Every year, the Morris Kates Seminar is hosted alongside the graduate student poster day. This year, the Morris Kates Seminar will be presented on April 30th from 10:30-11:00 in RGN 2005. This will be followed by a reception in the Atrium. The poster day will take place on May 2nd between the hours of 9:00-15:00 in the RGN Atrium.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Gilbert Di Paolo has accepted our invitation to visit us on April 30th and present the Morris Kates Seminar. Dr. Di Paolo is Director and Senior Principal Scientist of the Discovery Biology Department at Denali Therapeutics Inc. Dr. Di Paolo graduated from the University of Lausanne and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University. He subsequently joined the faculty of Columbia University where he developed his exceptional research record. He is an equally gifted speaker and we are delighted to welcome him to the University of Ottawa.

His seminar is entitled: Role of microglial lipid metabolism in Alzheimer’s disease

Dr. DiPaolo is a phenomenal scientist and this is an unique opportunity for you to attend his seminar to learn more about his research.
