Single Protein Profiling
We provide multi-enzyme digestion, as well as a suite of methods, like modifying column hydrophobicity, buffer pH, CID energy etc. to help to increase sequence coverage and confidence of your target protein.
Protein ID and PTM analysis from Gel Bands
This service is done on the LTQ orbitrap XL platform for general protein identification and expected PTM or protein isoforms identifications from gel bands. It includes in-gel digestion, HPLC-ESI-MS/MS analysis (60min), Mascot search and preliminary filtration/organization of the results, as well as data storage for 2 months. To reduce the cost, customers have the option to perform the in-gel digestion themselves.
Large Scale Protein Profiling
This service aims to identify and quantify complex samples.
We employ the most reliable two dimensional strong cation exchange/reverse phase (SCX/RP) fractionation of peptides and Orbirap analysis to increase the identification of proteins. For a typical sample (e.g. total cell lysate), thousands of proteins are routinely identified with high confidence.
This service includes in-solution digestion, SCX fractionation, HPLC-ESI-MS/MS on an Orbitrap XL mass spectrometer, Mascot search results, and data storage for 2 months. Option without fractionation is available. Note that the more fractions, the more protein identified, although it's not linear.
Nonconventional Protein Analysis
We also have Velos-Pro-Orbitrap Elite, Q-Exactive, and Qtrap5500 Qtrap5500 mass spectrometers, which can be used for a large variety of analysis, like MRM quantification, single PTM, peptide/protein validation and confirmation. Please contact us for more details.
