A caring, positive individual, Ryan had a passion for supporting and mentoring medical students.

The Faculty of Medicine sadly acknowledges the passing of Dr. Elianna Saidenberg, fondly remembered as a respected clinical and laboratory hematologist, assistant professor and active educator.

The emeritus professor with the School of Epidemiology and Public Health was a prolific author, scientist and teacher, and is remembered as a tremendous academic, generous with time and thought, and a true gentleman.

Praised as a wonderful colleague and a caring and loyal friend, Dr. Danielle Nahon was widely respected and highly regarded at the Department of Psychiatry and throughout the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Elana Christine Fric-Shamji was a respected family physician, professor, mentor and a loving mother of three young children.

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine somberly acknowledges the passing of Dr. Arlington Dungy, Adjunct Professor of Surgery, on April 30.
