Undergraduate Program

The end of the school year is coming. We are already planning our next academic year for our medical students. The Physician Skills Development Program is recruiting tutors for various very interesting sessions for our first and second year students. Please view the list of available opportunities.

We will be having our exam question retreat in June 2019. During this evening, we will create new content for our third year clerkship exam. We would be happy to have you join us! If you require additional information, please contact Louise at

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Michelle Anawati who will be stepping down as our Francophone Family Medicine Clerkship Director. She has been in this position for two years and we have been fortunate to work with her. Dr. Anawati will be replacing Dr. Antoine Gagnon as the Francophone Clerkship Director and I would like to also thank Dr. Gagnon for his great leadership at the Faculty!

FMIG held their annual Meet and Greet in April 2019. The event had to be rescheduled given the snowstorm we had earlier this year. Students who were present really appreciated the informative event. Thank you to the physicians who were present, including Dr. Delva, Dr.Whitehead, Dr. Turley, Dr. Ballou, Dr. Geller, Dr. Murray and Dr. Seale.

Dr. Suzanne Rutherford received our Undergraduate Preceptor Award. She was nominated by a student for the outstanding work she has done. Dr. Rutherford practices in Kemptville and is a great role model for our learners. Congratulations!
