Thank you to all clinicians, front line community physicians, teachers, researchers and support staff who brought forth exciting ideas and innovations at the Departmental Assembly this month. I had the privilege to connect with many of you, and hope to meet with many more over the coming months. I hope you are as inspired as I am for the future of our Department.
We will continue the dialogue to develop our strategic vision at the DFM Annual Faculty Retreat , at Château Montebello on Friday, January 10 to Saturday January 11, 2020. We are thrilled to announce that we've sold out of DFM rooms and registration is now closed.
If you would like to attend one of the sessions, please reach out to Asiya Rolston directly and she will be able to assist you in coordinating registration fees. Our talented team is working hard to prepare an event to excite, inspire and encourage you to actively participate in our Department's vision and direction.
We are seeking Family Medicine speakers for Discovery Day 2020 - more information listed in the newsletter. We would very much appreciate having uOttawa DFM represented this year as it is a field known to be of great interest to high school students across our national program.
