Welcome back after the holidays! I hope you all enjoyed a restful break.
Thank you to everyone who attended the DFM Annual Faculty Retreat on January 10 and 11. I'd like to thank Dr. Eric Wooltorton for putting together dynamic sessions and workshops, and our amazing staff for a successful 2-day event! Our keynote speaker Dr. Nancy Fowler, Executive Director of Academic Family Medicine at the College of Family Physicians of Canada, conferred what a national 3-year FM residency would look like along with generalist approaches in a world of increasing specialization. We are thrilled to announce this past weekend's retreat was the biggest faculty turnout in the last five years! What an energizing weekend at the Château Montebello! Visit the Retreat Web Guide for presentations (where available). I am honoured to be leading our department and highly value your tremendous work. I hope you are feeling recharged, inspired and motivated to take on new challenges! Photo Album
