CaRMS – Match Update 2018
A big thank you those who played a role in evaluating second-iteration candidates during a very busy time. We could not have completed this second round of dossier review and interviews without the support from our teaching sites. Match results were released on April 11th 2018 and we are pleased to announce that we have filled all of our positions! We look forward to welcoming our 2018-2020 resident cohort on July 1, 2018.
Mark your calendars – Research Inquiry and Opinion (RIO) Day will be held on Thursday, June 7 2018 from 8:00am – 4:00pm at the Ottawa Event and Conference Centre (200 Coventry Road). We are pleased to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Claire Kendall. More details will follow shortly! If you would like more information or would like to act as a moderator, please contact Chandra.
Our thanks go out to the outgoing 2017-2018 chief residents. You have all done a wonderful job supporting your fellow residents, as well as the Department during a very busy year. We would also like to welcome our 2018-2019 chief residents who will begin their terms shortly. We look forward to working with this energetic new group to continuously improve our program!
To all residents who will be writing the CFPC certification exams from April 19 – 22nd, we wish you nothing but success! You will do great and we are all proud of how far you have all come! Best of luck!
