Barbara Farrell, PharmD


Dr. Barbara Farrell B.Sc.Phm., Pharm.D., ACPR, FCSHP is a Clinical Scientist with Care of the Elderly at the Bruyère Research Institute and the C.T. Lamont Centre for Primary Health Care Research. She is also the Clinical and Research Coordinator for the Pharmacy Department of Bruyère Continuing Care, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa and Adjunct Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Farrell’s research interests include evaluation of: interdisciplinary collaboration, pharmacist activities in identifying and resolving drug-related problems, pharmacist online education and interaction, and deprescribing programs. Her research has involved patients and healthcare providers at Bruyère Continuing Care as well as in primary and long-term care environments.
