The uOttawa Biomed Graduate Discovery Day gives candidates the opportunity to learn more about graduate studies in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, Cellular Molecular Medicine and Neuroscience at the Faculty of Medicine.

Whether you’re from the west coast, the east coast or the nation’s core, we’re thrilled to invite you to participate in our Discovery Day.

What is BioMed Discovery Day?

Our one-day event will provide information on our graduate program in biomedical sciences, ranging from Proteomics, Genetics, Metabolomics, Virology, Cancer and Cardiovascular Research to Bioengineering and Molecular Imaging, Neuroscience and more.

In addition to learning about ongoing research at the uOttawa Faculty of Medicine, you will visit our facilities, as well as downtown Ottawa. We will connect you with essential information, faculty, students, alumni, and employers so you can gain insight into the uOttawa research community and grad student life, as well as future career opportunities and post-graduate school.

What will students experience during Discovery Day?

Throughout the day there will be opportunities for a facilities tour, lunch social, and current staff and student interactions to answer questions about grad school at uOttawa’s Faculty of Medicine.

After Discovery Day, you will be equipped to decide if uOttawa Graduate School in biomedical sciences at the Faculty of Medicine is the right fit for you. You will also have all the resources necessary to take the next step in your research career.
