Become a Let's Talk Science volunteer!

Posted on Thursday, September 3, 2020

Most kids lose interest in science.

Help them see that it's all around them -and why it matters!

As a Let's Talk Science Outreach volunteer, you'll join an active group of like-minded individuals at your campus, as well as a network of over 3,500 volunteers at 50 universities and colleges across Canada, whose mission is to inspire and engage youth of all ages in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

  • Lead hands-on activities for all ages
  • Show kids that science is all around them
  • Give back to the community through volunteering
  • Gain valuable skills that easily transfer to your CV including leadership, planning, teamwork, time management, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Have fun and meet new people

Work with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth in rural communities, quick field trips, offer lab tours, judge science fairs, and host events -whatever fits your schedule.
