Most kids lose interest in science.
Help them see that it's all around them -and why it matters!
As a Let's Talk Science Outreach volunteer, you'll join an active group of like-minded individuals at your campus, as well as a network of over 3,500 volunteers at 50 universities and colleges across Canada, whose mission is to inspire and engage youth of all ages in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
YOU WILL:
- Lead hands-on activities for all ages
- Show kids that science is all around them
- Give back to the community through volunteering
- Gain valuable skills that easily transfer to your CV including leadership, planning, teamwork, time management, communication, and problem-solving.
- Have fun and meet new people
Work with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit youth in rural communities, quick field trips, offer lab tours, judge science fairs, and host events -whatever fits your schedule.
