Tuition and Awards

MD/PhD students will receive the Admission Scholarship of $3,000.00 per term, for all terms within the PhD portion the program (summer of year 1 and 2 and years 3, 4 and 5).

In addition, all MD/PhD students will receive a stipend during the summer of years 1 and 2 and during the 3 years of the PhD portion of the program. This stipend is set at a minimum of $21,000 per academic year.

All students are encouraged to apply for CIHR scholarships and other external scholarships offered to Canadian PhD students. Our students have been successful in obtaining the following awards, as shown in the table below:
