Karen Deme is a Registered Nurse who has been working at the Shirley E. Greenberg Women’s Health Centre (SEGWHC) since 2006. She has over 30 years of nursing experience and has worked in women’s health for the majority of her career. She has worked in various areas of women’s health including fertility, oncology and benign gynecology.
Karen has special interest in minimally invasive gynecology. Karen manages the Minimally Invasive Outpatient Surgery Suite at SEGWHC. She also runs a specialized Nursing Endometriosis Program which allows patients with endometriosis to be assessed and followed through a multidisciplinary approach. The nursing program provides continuity of care as well as, invaluable patient and physician support.
