Research Associate, Department of Clinical Epidemiology
Teresa Flaxman received her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, specializing in human biomechanics, at the University of Ottawa in 2017. Prior to her Doctorate, Teresa completed her MSc in Human Kinetics and the University of Ottawa in 2011 and her BScH degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She is currently a Research Associate in the department of Clinical Epidemiology at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute facilitating investigator led research studies with the Minimally Invasive Gynecology research team. Her research interests include improving diagnosis of benign gynecological pathology using ultrasound and optimizing pre-surgical planning for excision of endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
