Biography
Dr. Lawrence completed her medical training at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and her fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Ottawa, joining the Faculty of Medicine as a Neonatologist in January of 2005. She is currently the site chief for the NICU and newborn care at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus.
Dr. Lawrence served as the Program Director for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine 2007-2016. She has an interest in education and is the vice chair of the RCPSC Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine subspecialty committee, as well as many other educational committees.
Dr. Lawrence has a special interest in Quality Improvement and is involved in many quality improvement initiatives.
