Lesleigh Abbott MD, FRCPC

Biography

Dr. Lesleigh Abbott received her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007. She completed her general pediatrics training at the IWK Hospital, Dalhousie University and her hematology/oncology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and the University of Toronto in 2014. During her fellowship, she also trained at the NCIC Clinical Trials Group at Queen’s University in the drug development fellowship. Dr. Abbott joined the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in 2014. Dr. Abbott’s clinical interests pertain to sarcomas, lymphomas and bone marrow transplantation. Her research interests are in early phase clinical trials for pediatric cancer therapies and adolescent and young adult oncology.
