Biography
Dr. Manna Adegbite graduated from medical school at the University of Lagos in 1994 and then completed a pediatrics residency at The University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. She then went on to complete a year of neonatal-perinatal medicine at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatchewan. Dr. Adegbite practiced in Yorkton and Saskatchewan for three years in pediatric general and emergency medicine before relocating to Ottawa in December 2005. She started her career in Ottawa as a clinical assistant in Neonatology at The Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus. Dr. Adegbite also participated in the Pediatric AIDS Corps in Gaborone, Botswana from 2007-2008. Currently, she practices newborn medicine at The Ottawa Hospital - General Campus and at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Dr. Adegbite has a private practice in the community where she practices as a consultant in general pediatrics and pediatric mental health. She also works as a locum pediatrician in several communities in Ontario and across Canada.
