Biography
Dr. David Dyment completed his graduate training in genetics of complex disease at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford. He next completed his MD degree (2006) and residency training (2011) at the University of Calgary in medical genetics. His clinical area of interest is in neurogenetics and he works in the neurogenetics program at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). He is the recipient of a CIHR Clinical Investigator award and his current research focus includes the identification of disease genes involved in rare epilepsies and dysmorphic syndromes.
