Biography

Dr. Charles Hui completed medical school at the University of Ottawa in 1996 followed by a pediatrics residency, an infectious diseases fellowship and a research fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton. He joined the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in 2003 and specializes in general infectious diseases and tuberculosis (TB). He is a clinician teacher and a liaison member for the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) on the committee to advise on tropical medicine and travel (CATMAT). Dr. Hui also sits on the infectious diseases and immunization committee of the CPS. His research interests include children with fever, prevention of respiratory syncytial virus infection, international adoption, infectious complications in children who travel, and guidelines for children and youth new to Canada.
