Biography

Dr. Stephanie Redpath obtained her MD in the UK at the University of Glasgow. She completed both her General Pediatric and subspecialty Neonatal training in the United Kingdom, including a sabbatical year at the University of Ottawa and the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto from 2007 to 2008. She started work as a Neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and The Ottawa Hospital - General Campus in 2010 and has been the Medical Director of CHEO’s Neonatal Transport Team since 2013.  

Dr. Redpath’s interests and expertise lie in Neonatal Transport. She is passionate about multi-professional education and has a research focus in quality improvement. She is a member of Canadian National and Provincial Transport Committees, the Steering Committee for the Canadian Neonatal Transport Network (CNTN), site investigator for CNTN and co-investigator on a successful CIHR Partnerships for Health System Improvement grant, a national collaborative partnership for outcome improvement and system enhancement.
