Biography
Dr. Nicole Le Saux received her medical degree from University of Ottawa in 1981. She is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in internal medicine, infectious diseases and anatomic pathology. She is past chair of the Royal College certification exam board for adult and pediatrics infectious diseases, a member of the Canadian Paediatric Society’s (CPS) infectious diseases committee; and lead investigator for rotavirus infection surveillance with the CPS Immunization Monitoring Program ACTive (IMPACT). Dr. Le Saux has published extensively in the areas of vaccines and clinical infectious diseases issues. Her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and vaccine preventable diseases.
