Caroline Zuijdwijk MD, FRCPC

Biography

Dr. Caroline Zuijdwijk received her medical degree from McMaster University and completed her pediatrics residency at Memorial University. She then completed her pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and the University of Ottawa, following which she pursued a research fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto. Dr. Zuijdwijk also holds a postgraduate diploma in epidemiology from the University of London and a certificate in global health from the University of Toronto). In 2012, she joined the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at CHEO. Her principal research interest is quality improvement in pediatric Type 1 diabetes, both locally and abroad.
