Resident Orientation

Posted on Thursday, July 13, 2017

PGME hosted its third annual orientation session for all new hires on June 30, 2017.  Presentations on professionalism, wellness, teaching of MD students were made along with appearances by the Chief Ottawa Coroner and PARO. All enjoyed networking with their peers, faculty members and leadership.

During the session, Dr. Lorne Wiesenfeld, Vice-Dean PGME, took time to thank Dr. Jacques Bradwejn for the tremendous support he provided to PGME during his 11 year tenure as Dean. He also welcomed Dr. Bernard Jasmin as interim Dean, and presented him with the infamous 'PGME fleece', making him an official member of the PGME team.

July 1 was the first day of residency training for the 2017-18 cohort. We extend a warm welcome to all of our new trainees and wish them great success in their chosen career.

Thanks to all our speakers, volunteers and resident ambassadors for contributing to the success of this event.
