The Ottawa Stroke Summit for Physicians and Allied Healthcare Professionals will reflect the current best practices for stroke care, including the most recent developments in endovascular therapies. The course topics will encourage you to connect with, utilize, recommend and refer to specialized regional stroke resources across the continuum of care: from prevention, acute conditions, care management, rehabilitation and through to community.

The 2017 Ottawa Stroke Summit planning team invites you to submit brief presentation abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the program. Abstracts may be in the form of a Brief Communication or Brag and Steal oral presentation. Categories for submission include Basic Science, Clinical Research or Quality Improvement.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development.
