Dr Dunlap holds an academic appointment with the Faculty as Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology. He has been an active pediatric radiologist at CHEO since 1987.

A medical graduate from the University of Ottawa (class of 1978); he completed his residency training in 1984, following a rotating internship at Dalhousie. He was a fellow at the University of Toronto in MRI and Pediatric Radiology from 1984 to 1987.

Dr Dunlap has special interests in MRI and Pediatric Emergency Imaging.

He has served as Department Chief at CHEO and as a member of the CHAMO Board since its inception. He has a particular interest in education of children with special needs and is also a member of the Board of the OCTC School Authority.
