Call for applications: The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine Clinical Research Chairs Program

Posted on Wednesday, February 5, 2020

In April 2010, the Faculty of Medicine (FoM) launched a new clinical research program named the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine Clinical Research Chairs Program.  This program was received with great enthusiasm and has been very successful in providing support to some of our best Clinician-Scientists across the Faculty.

The FoM is now pleased to announce that a new competition has been launched for new and renewal applications (subject to availability). The new Chairs will be funded on a 30/70 ratio basis via Institutional support and Clinical Department Practice Plans and Registered Partnerships.  The program aims to support excellence in clinical research with an ultimate goal of improving health and/or patient care.

This Program funds various levels of Chairs, separated into two streams: Clinical Research Chairs and Junior Clinical Research Chairs.
