Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) uOttawa Site License

Posted on Tuesday, June 8, 2021

The Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) is a client-based software that interfaces with the Qiagen IPA servers to enables analysis, and understanding of data from gene expression, miRNA, and SNP microarrays, as well as metabolomics, proteomics, genetic screens and RNAseq experiments. Even small experiments can benefit from their manually curated database which contains many interactions not found in commonly used public interactome databases. The data analysis and search capabilities of IPA can help scientists understand the significance of data, specific targets, or candidate biomarkers in the context of larger biological or chemical systems.

For more information about IPA, please see their website.

Through the support of several labs at uOttawa, OHRI, the Heart Institute, CHEO RI as well as support from the Faculty of Medicine and CHEO Research Institute, uOttawa has a 2021 site license enabling anyone with a email to get an account. Please contact Stephen Baird, Manager of the High Throughput Screening (HTS) Core Facility, for more information or to register for an account.
