Research Days

Collins Surgical Day

  • Collins Surgical Day is our annual resident research day to celebrate innovation and research in the Department of Surgery, where resident research projects are presented. This event is held annually in May.

Research Half Day

  • The Department of Surgery Research Half Day celebrates research excellence and includes a research personnel session, faculty research presentations, annual research excellence awards (including faculty, research personnel, research mentorship recognition awards), and a live grant competition (Wolves’ Den). It is held annually and usually coincides with the departmental holiday party in late November / early December.

  • Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies and organizations showcasing innovative products and services that promote exceptional patient care across any of the surgical specialties. Contact our departmental research staff for more information.
