Eastern Regional Medical Education Program (ERMEP) – Perth
The majority of the DME clerkship rotations that are available to Ottawa University students are ERMEP sites. ERMEP representatives are often involved in Faculty presentations to students on clerkship rotations and Community Week. The University of Ottawa works closely with ERMEP to send its learners to the communities of Eastern Ontario, and recommends ERMEP sites first as part of its DME philosophy.
Students and clerks are asked to find their own preceptor if electives are less than four weeks in duration.
