September 10, 2021
In September, newly admitted medical students will attend the White Coat Ceremony: Call to the Profession, wherein they will recite the professional oath and receive their white coat. This event will mark their entry into the profession, which symbolizes the highest standards of professional behaviour expected in academic and clinical settings, as guided by the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine’s core values.
This year, the ceremony will take place virtually to welcome our students to the Faculty, in accordance with the guidelines put in place by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Ottawa Public Health.
