Room: Department of Medicine - Neurology
Dr. Elizabeth Pringle is a graduate of the University of Alberta's medical school and after a brief career in family medicine, she did Internal Medicine residency at the University of Calgary followed by a Neurology residency at the University of Western Ontario. She has done fellowships in Multiple Sclerosis (UWO) and Neuromuscular Disease/EMG (New England Medical Center, Boston).
She joined the faculty at University of Ottawa in 1994 and is currently an Associate Professor. Her clinical practice specializes in immune-mediated neuromuscular diseases and she has particular interest in myasthenia gravis. She is the former director of the neurophysiology laboratories at the General campus and is currently the director of the Myasthenia Gravis Clinic of Ottawa.
